3: Sidekick Chat

It's a landmark day in podcasting as two sidekicks come together for the first time [citation needed] in episode 3 of Retsutalk. General Ironicus lends his sidekick-like talents to ChipCheezum's LP catalog as well as their RP YouTube channel that is clearly a total ripoff of what is ours, because we alone have the privilege of making fun of video game clips in our spare time. Now Ironicus joins Diabetus for a pleasant conversation about their respective geographies, Dungeons and Dragons, Footloose, and what it's like to be years behind in gaming.

  4. Hey, I'm some dude from somethingawful who listens to that D&D LP and Retsu stuff. I've surprisingly seen more Slowbeef/Diabetus LPs than ChipxIronicus. Overlap exists! Love all of this work. Thanks guys!

  5. Man, what was that song at the begining? Sounded super familiar but I can't exactly recall.

    1. It was a jazzy remix of the Dark World music from Zelda III: A Link To The Past.

  6. I really have nothing constructive to add aside from that I do quite enjoy listening to you guys ramble on about nothing in particular in a humorous fashion. Do keep that up.

  7. Man, I miss Ferr.

Also, for Ironicus, I'd recommend Legend of Grimrock. It's a great grid-based dungeon crawler with strategic real-time combat.

    1. Software? MapTools, Fantasygrounds and the 4e VT are the big players. If you are talking groups, there is usually a campaign finder and/or forum on the site of the software, plus the usual suspects: ENworld, Penny Arcade, Order of the Stick and obviously Something Awful.
