4: Chill Cam
Slowbeef catches Diabetus up on business school and reveals that he will be the future mastermind behind the Wii U's marketing strategy. Diabetus wants to discuss his Steam sale acquisitions but realizes that it'll fall on deaf Mac ears. The conversation goes downhill fast, so who will save Retsutalk? A surprise 3rd guest comes out of the woodwork and the chat turns towards Minecraft and scare cams and probably some other garbage. Also huge thanks to nrich for the great intro!

ReplyDeleteWow I wasn't expecting dave_o. It's great to hear him again. Also, as far as the DnD (or whatever other tabletop rpg you guys choose) idea goes, I'd listen to it. You guys are funny enough that I think your audience would enjoy it even if you guys don't end up liking rpgs. Thanks for the podcast.

ReplyDeleteI must say, wasn't a fan of dave_o's voice in the earlier retsupurae, because it had that stereotypical pot-head touch to it, but now it has evolved to the rank of "cool blues station DJ", and I'm totally going to watch this minecraft LP now because of it.

ReplyDeleteI am a Mac user and when I record my LPs, I just point the camera around the general vicinity of my monitor and tape a piece of paper in the upper left hand corner of the monitor that says "unregistered hypercam 2"

ReplyDeleteThere uh, Screen Record Pro for like 4 bucks on mac, it isn't bad... used it for recording a Photoshop painting thing.
ReplyDeleteThere's a ton of screen recorders though, on the App store thing. I bet Camtasia would probably work best since it's higher end maybe.

ReplyDeleteThe Dota-type community, apart from cannibalizing/killing Used Map Settings from original Starcraft essentially, is pretty much a steaming pile of shit. I missed the Diabetus intro/summary though.

ReplyDeleteI have to agree wholeheartedly with dave_o on the League of Legends community. I love playing the game so much with my friends, but holy crap if you make one mistake the entirety of the hell itself is on you. The players can be pretty damn mean so when you meet someone else who is actually pretty cool, they seem like an oasis in a scorching desert of hate.
