3.5: Sidekickstarter

In an entertainment industry oversaturated with sequels, Retsutalk seizes the opportunity to follow suit and make a follow-up podcast to Sidekick Chat. It would be a minisode if it weren't almost twice as long as what we've done so far! Ironicus returns for more and receives tenure as he lectures his way through the entirety of Dungeons and Dragons history. We go into a little more sidekicky type stuff since we somehow skipped that in the actual Sidekick Chat episode. Then for whatever reason Kickstarter, the Metal Gear Solid franchise, and Dr. Who all get brought up. It's a hail mary of conversation topics so Ironicus won't ever need to come back again!

    Well, damn. The last part of this episode has inspired me to finally check out Doctor Who more than any amount of reading TV Tropes has been able to thus far.

    I really like the Diabetus/Ironicus podcast dynamic. Don't get me wrong though Slowbeef/Diabetus is what I prefer but it would be nice to have some more of these sidekick on sidekick episodes in the future.

    I love these podcast.

    Hearing Diabetus and Slowbeef jabber on about crap is great.

    One question I feel that would make for a good discussion is "If there was any piece of literature, film, piece of music or game that you could have had some involvement in, what would it be and why."

    I really like the podcast, and all the random jibberish is really entertaining, because you bounce off eachother really organically.
    I'm excited to see which direction this podcast will take and I hope to see more guest appearances.
